Essential Beliefs

Surely this page should be titled: Essential and Propositional Beliefs.

The Essential Beliefs are documented in the last two eBooks of this page: Resurrection Destiny and Beautiful Feet, whereas:

This growing list of note-taking type presentations, is comprised of propositional Bible source teachings for anyone’s up-building of their faith in God. Please view the titles.

My apologies to those who are viewing this page on a mobile phone or tablet. It seems that the text of the documents appears whole and in a scrolling format on a desktop computer or PC, but not on a mobile phone or tablet.

Albeit, the documents are still able to be downloaded through the highlighted text and buttons that appear, even on mobile phones’ and tablets’ displays.

The question of whether Jesus’ current day disciples can work miracles of counsel, healing and deliverance is “outlawed” here. For, in my mind, there is no question.

Albeit, we-as-believers in Christ need to know just how Holy Spirit works through our faith and prayer-fullness, exalting Jesus as He does ~cf. John 16:13-15.

This eBook, linked here for your download, is of just 8 main pages, also two of an Appendix and two of the description of a Role Play. It’s made to be used as a tool for teaching, just how we are able to exalt Jesus, hereby working wonders.

The following document is a condensed version of the eBook published above: “Participating with Christ’s Divine Fullness”. It is titled: First Holder, Notes.

I’ve compiled two Card-Style-Booklets as is shown in the first photo. Once opened, the card shows the respective pages – second and third photo, respective of each booklet.

The cards can be used in a Role Play if a wooden cross is available. The scriptures shown in the open format teach of what it is to be Crucified with Christ, which Card-Booklet is available through that link.

Each candidate in a teaching forum can be given the first card and the leader: teach from the cited scriptures. Then, the student is to nail the card to the Cross, “cementing in this one’s conscience” what Christ has done for them, then recover the card!

Card 2 – Cross and Crown – again downloadable through that link, is then given to the candidate, waiting until each of the students has “played the role” and then the leader teaches on the scriptures there contained.

The files’ format is Pages (Apple Mac) but is compatible with MS Word. “It’s a boon” for individual or group study!

Ideally, the files can be printed and made into half-A4-size cards using a thicker card-paper. These will then be a gift and memory source for the student.

The objective is to teach that Jesus is the King of the kingdom of heaven He’s ushered us into by His blood, and since He’s given us His own righteousness, we expect to be crowned with Him.

Working with Jesus in our King’s Kingdom is a thorough-going appraisal of ~Matthew 11:12, viz: “…from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force…”, New King James Version, with “proof-parsing” of the Greek text for that verse.

It seeks to establish our position in this heavenly kingdom, into which we’ve been translated through our Savior’s grace, and “works through” what this means for our authority in Him.

Worshiping with Holy Spirit

Jesus promises us that Holy Spirit will “take of what is Mine and will reveal it to you” ~John 14:16. Now, Holy Spirit is the same as Jesus even though we can’t see Him, that He “appears” to our consciences as wind/a breath/a breeze ~cf. John 3:7-8 and has the character of the presence and effect of oil which is anointing ~cf. Luke 4:18a. He is also like water, cf. John 4:13 and esp. John 7:37-39

Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ ~cf. Philippians 1:19 & 1 Peter 1:11, and Jesus Himself said of Him: “I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper”, ~John 14:16 where the word that’s used for “another” means another of the same kind.

The original Greek word used for “another” is allos whereas the text could have used the alternative word for another: heteros. Vine’s Expository Dictionary differentiates between the two words thus: “Allos expresses a numerical difference and denotes “another of the same sort;” heteros expresses a qualitative difference and denotes “another of a different sort.” Christ promised to send “another Comforter” (allos, “another like Himself,” not heteros)”.

Therefore it’s justifiable by the original Greek text to claim that Holy Spirit is the same as Jesus in spirit, in character, in conduct, with Christ’s love and attention, with His works and wonders and/or with the power, knowledge and authority of Christ’s works and wonders!

It’s evident that Jesus worshiped us!

That might be a hard concept to comprehend due to our current day heritage of ‘strict Biblical teaching’, but the meaning of worship is worth-ship. It’s assigning value to someone or something. Question: How much value does God attribute to you? “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” ~2 Corinthians 5:21. Answer: That much value!

Therefore, what is said of our worship in Romans 12:1b, is applicable to Christ: “present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship”. For it’s recorded that Christ had this conversation with our Father in heaven before He was sent into our world:

“Consequently, when Christ came into the world, he said,
“Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired,
but a body have you prepared for me”, ~Hebrews 10:5.

We know that Jesus is God incarnate/God in the flesh/God in a personal body and that He sacrificed Himself “in worship of us” in order to avail us of His righteousness: “For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father”, ~John 10:17-18.

Therefore Christ worshiped us, for He “presented His own body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which was His spiritual service of worship”, ~cp. Romans 12:1b so that “He would be made sin who knew no sin, in order that we may become the righteousness of God in Him”, ~cp. 2 Corinthians 5:21.

Holy Spirit was the One who “made this happen” – this connection and unity: us with God, through Christ becoming our sin, for Christ was “declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead”, ~Romans 1:4.

The sinless, innocent life of Christ being sacrificed, was raised by Holy Spirit for our justification ~cf. Romans 4:25.

Therefore Holy Spirit knows how to “make us worship”/lead us in worship according to His will, that is: in congruence with HIs intentions, HIs volition, His motives and motivation and for His purpose(s) that He intends to bring forth through each believer who’s worshiping God through Him.

He does this in accordance with Jesus’ word: “He will take of what is Mine and will reveal it to you” ~John 14:16.

Question: What belongs to Jesus that Holy Spirit can give to you, reveal to you, show you in Truth, and work through you? Answer: Everything that Jesus did whilst on earth, everything that God has promised in His word and simply everything or anything because Jesus is sovereign. The most precious promise for our worship is from Colossians 1:21:

“And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him”.

Through our worship, Holy Spirit “presents us holy and blameless and above reproach before God” as our Father’s beloved sons and daughters, trusting childlike ones and honorable family members of our heavenly family, with our brother: Jesus, rejoicing over us with singing.

There is a condition to that scriptural promise of Colossians 1:21 “if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard”, ~v22. But here, we’re talking about those who are willing, even passionate about worshiping God, so that’s “a given”!

And “the icing on the cake”/the “cream of the crop”? As we worship through Holy Spirit’s counsel and lead, it’s God who’s seeking us!

“…the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth”, ~John 4:23-24.

“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him”, ~2 Chronicles 16:9, NKJV.

It may not need to be said, but: Do you want to have “God backing you up”/the strength of God in your life/God honoring you? Then worship Him in the Spirit of Truth/in and by Holy Spirit’s worshipful knowledge of you! This is also how we receive and use His gifts.
